Our exclusive ‘Isle of Auskerry’ cushion cover design is knitted in one piece with an open stitch which produces a lovely lacy effect. When the knitting is finished the coloured yarn provided is then woven into the stitches to produce a subtle contrast to match your colour scheme. The cover is then fastened with one of our natural horn buttons.
Easy to make, and suitable for people with little or no knitting experience, the kit includes full instructions, bamboo knitting needles, darning needle, horn button, coloured yarn for lacing and 200g of our aran yarn in a choice of four natural colours; seal grey, slate grey, shell-sand and peat black. The coloured yarn comes in rhubarb pink, flame orange or heather purple or you can choose to have a contrast natural colour for the weaving yarn.
