We have recently found that there was an error with the early versions of our corkscrew scarf pattern – the instructions about the corkscrew fringe should read as follows:
SHORT CORKSCREW
Cut off a length 11 metres long and fold in half. Using the thumb casting on method cast on 15 stitches.

LONG CORKSCREW
Cut off a length 15 metres and continue as above, casting on 20 stitches.
